En la radio suena una canción olvidada / Brenda Lee viene fuerte / La carretera me ha hipnotizado / y acelero hacia un nuevo amanecer
Cada cual tiene su música favorita para conducir, pero hay canciones que son indiscutiblemente hechas para sonar en un coche. Y si es en una carretera polvorienta, mejor aún.
Tal es el caso de la que te traemos hoy, un clásico de 1973 con un videoclip que también es de interés. Se trata de Radar Love, de Golden Earring. Se trataba de un grupo danés, que conquistó el mundo hasta el punto de que existen ya más de 375 versiones de la canción, a cargo de grupos como R.E.M., U2, Santana, Crowded House, Ministry… aunque la más famosa sigue siendo la de White Lion.
Radar Love ha formado parte de la banda sonora de varias películas y series, siempre en una escena de conducción. Ha sonado un par de veces en Los Simpsons, la oimos en Wayne’s World 2, Detroit Rock City y en un reciente anuncio de Jaguar.
