Sí, el coche sirve para desplazarte, cargar cosas, o simplemente disfrutar el hecho de conducir. Pero hay otros usos, y la música también se ha hecho eco de ellos en sus canciones. Tal es el caso de Sleeping in my car, la canción de Roxette que recordamos hoy en nuestra sección musical.
El dúo sueco, formado por Marie Fredriksson y Per Gessle, logró sus mayores éxitos a principios de los 90 y finales de los 80. Todos recordamos The look, It must have been love, Listen to your heart…. En 1994 lanzaban su quinto álbum, Crash! Boom! Bang!.
El primer single del disco era esta canción, que solamente alcanzó el puesto 50 en las listas de Estados Unidos, pero funcionó mejor en Suecia (evidentemente) o Canadá (donde alcanzó el tercer puesto). Posteriormente el grupo de punk alemán Donald Dark versionó la canción, al igual que la polaca Ewa Farna.
